Direct Baggage Transfer
International and Regional Direct Baggage Transfer Inquiry
Hainan Airlines offers "one-time check-in and direct baggage transfer" services for select international and regional connecting flights at Beijing (Capital), Shenzhen, Haikou, Chongqing, Changsha, Xi'an, and Chengdu (Tianfu) airports. At the departure airport, passengers can check in for both flight segments at once and have their baggage transferred directly to their final destination without collect it during transfer.
Hainan Airlines now provides a "direct baggage transfer" service on the routes "Wuhan-Haikou-Sydney/Melbourne/Auckland/Dubai/Moscow/Jeddah/Abu Dhabi" and "Ningbo-Haikou-Sydney/Melbourne/Auckland". Passengers do not need to collect their checked baggage upon arrival in Haikou. Please follow the airport signage to the Hainan Airlines international check-in counter in the departure hall to complete check-in for the second leg of your trip.
